Corey Heath

South Carolina High School League Student of the Month for January is Corey Heath of Silver Bluff High School. Corey is a senior football player with a GPA above 4.0.

Corey is affectionately known as a charismatic, gentle giant at 6’3, 280 lbs. Corey has shined as an offensive and defensive lineman. He has earned All-Region and All-Area, the past two years and added to his impressive list of accomplishments All-State, Central Savannah River Area team, Carolina Bowl, and Border Bowl selectee this year. Corey has participated in several SCHSL and NFHS Student Leadership Summits and is a member of the National Honor Society, and the Beta Club.

Corey is very active in his church and community. He works missionary projects with World Changers during the summer building decks and assisting at homeless shelters. He also volunteers lawn care services for the elderly and works with children during sports camps as well as teaching them camping and fishing at his family’s pond.

With a rigorous academic load and an intense athletic commitment, Corey still finds time to work at a local cattle farm after school and on weekends.
