SCHSL’s Newman receives Rewards for Excellence Award

South Carolina High School League director of communications and public relations Tammie Newman has been selected as a Rewards for Excellence Award recipient by the South Carolina Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association.

Newman will be honored in a virtual ceremony on Thursday, July 15 at 1 p.m. on the SC/NSPRA YouTube Channel.

“On behalf of the South Carolina Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association, thank you for participating in the 2021 Rewards for Excellence program, celebrating exemplary works in the area of school communications,” said Julie Putnam in the award announcement.

“I am pleased to announce that your entry, Tues-News, has been selected to receive the Rewards for Excellence Award in the Newsletter category. This year, 184 entries were submitted for consideration in our awards program. Multiple professionals who work in public relations and communications judged each entry.”
