Swim officials certification/training session set

021 High School Swimming Certification – latest roster and ONE FINAL MAKE-UP TRAINING SESSION – Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm

A final make-up training session will be held via Zoom starting at 6:00pm on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 6:00 pm.

6:00 – 6:45 – SCHSL Rules Training for Meet Refs/Starters   https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89242724214?pwd=aEtTR25McGx5S0Q3VWJzdkJNVjI0Zz09

6:45 – 8:00 – NFHS Stroke and Turn Clinic for ALL Non-USA-S / YMCA certified officials  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89242724214?pwd=aEtTR25McGx5S0Q3VWJzdkJNVjI0Zz09

If you plan to officiate this season, have not yet attended training and need to based on criteria presented in previous emails, please login to the Zoom Link below.  I will not hold any additional training sessions after Tuesday evening.  Please let me know if you plan to attend.

Finally, the SCHSL season begins this week.
Do not officiate in a capacity for which you are not certified – no exceptions.

As a reminder:1. I only keep detailed track of testing and registration for SCHSL District 5 (Lower State) Officials.  I do not have access to Arbiter registration for anyone else.  I also don’t receive test results for anyone and am reliant on the SCHSL for an occasional update.  You can also forward me your results, if you wish.  Both work equally well – just one takes a little more time late.  I provide this list to all who attend the training (provided I have some record of it and an email address) in case you need to show your Director of Officials a record of you attending.

2. Once you complete the Stroke and Turn Clinic, you can be a Stroke and Turn judge.  Nothing else is required. All certified meet refs/starters can also be S&T judges.  Even if you have not yet completed all the things for meet ref/starter, if the “S&T clinic” block is shaded Green on either list, you are good to go for S&T.  I will not put you on both lists.
Please let me now if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Chris
